Household Of David Church, Gutted By Fire.🔥

A popular church which is known as Household of David Church at Adeniyi Jones Street, Ikeja Lagos, headed by Pastor Sola Osunmakinde, was  gutted by fire  on Wednesday morning.

A video shared by an X  user (formally known as twitter), Olúwadámilọlá, confirmed the incident, showing the main auditorium of the worship center being ravaged by fire..

Prior to the incident, the church was set to hold a “Mercy Conference,” which prominent ministers of God and gospel artists were expected to attend.

Recounting how the strange fire started, the lead pastor of the church, a somber-faced Sola Osunmakinde, said he painfully watched everything burn before his eyes.

“It’s a painful experience, no doubt but all things work together for good,” he said consolingly albeit with a trembling voice.
The Mercy Conference was slated to hold from January 31, 2024 through February 4, 2024 with many Pentecostal preachers like Joshua Selman, Isaac Oyedepo, Godman Akinlabi, and Yemi Davids billed to minister during the meeting. Also, famous minstrels like Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Victoria Orenze and Moses Bliss are also supposed to minister at the conference.

But the good news is that, the unfortunate incident did not claim the lives of any church members present when the fire erupted, but the majority of the church properties, from chairs to ACs, down to instruments, were destroyed beyond recognition.

However, reacting to the sudden incident, the Senior Pastor of the Church, Olusola Osunmakinde, encouraged his members and the general public not to lose hope in God.

As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the fire had yet to be ascertained though reports claim that the fire might have been caused by an electrical issue.

Christians Showing Concern.

Moreso, Christian are showing much concern, the pastor of the church said recently, “Ministers like Reverend Sam Olu Alo, Pastor Bolaji, Pastor Andy Osakwe, and Bishop Wale Oke have been donating to the church.

Reacting to this, Pastor Sola Osunmakinde while ministering noted that there is indeed love in the body of Christ. This is because he is surprised at the show of love from his colleagues in the ministry”.

“Sincerely the only time I wanted to cry was when I saw it – Display of love from brethren I said it yesterday and I’m saying it again. Correct that narrative out there that there is no love in the Body of Christ, it’s not true. It is not true!

People I have never met. Reverend Sam Olu Alo is a CAC Prophet, I’ve never met him, but I got a message and a huge amount from him. And then, God bless Pastor Jerry Eze, he sent something unusual this afternoon. Pastor Bolaji, Pastor Andy Osakwe. Now, Daddy Wale Oke called me today, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun in Ibadan. Different people, fathers I can’t mention.

I woke up this morning with a call from Pastor Tunde Bakare, different people! People I’m not very close to, people that I haven’t seen in four, or five years, getting a call. I just saw online a Church raising prayer for the Household of David, not a familiar Church.

When Pastor Nath called, when Minister Dunsin called, when Pastor Victoria called, I almost started crying. They just laughed and said some things Scripturally and I just paused. Then, I saw your message and I was just like: ‘Wow’! This is love!, Pastor Sola Osunmakinde said.
