SEYE Saxophonista: Saxophonist & Event Musician

Born on July 1 in Akure Nigeria, SEYE Saxophonista (born Adeseye Fayeun) is a renowned saxophonist, composer and Music performer. His soulful melodies and captivating stage presence have endeared him to music lovers globally.

• Early Life & Education

Growing up in a music loving family, SEYE’s love for music was nurtured from an early age . He began playing the local drum at age 5 before transitioning into a saxophone player at 14 and honed his skills at the Universal Music Institute Akure, Ondo State.
He’s a graduate of Microbiology from the prestigious Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti

• Career

SEYE’s professional music journey began in 2007, when he created a team of horns men named the Fantastic 4, performing in many notable events in his local environment, which later transformed into a live band lead by SEYE with the name SEYE & Vibes Band. In 2013, SEYE released his debut single named HYMNOLOGY a medley of popular Hymns, which was widely accepted both online and offline. He has released lot of single tracks which includes Hymnology 2, Yawdah, All the way, Alewilese, Jo, Living Word, Ijo Ope and a whole lot of others. In 2017, he released his debut album, “Jehovah Tsidkenu” The album’s success propelled him onto the international stage.

Seye’s music blends jazz, Afrobeat, Gospel, Alujo and contemporary styles. Influenced by John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Nathaniel Bassey and Fela Kuti, his unique sound has captivated audiences worldwide.
